This genuine Panama hat is then finished using restored traditional English hat making equipment and techniques in our workshop in Luton England. The ancestral home of British straw hat making.
 
The raw material for this hat is a vintage factory find from another factory in Luton. Once these are gone they're gone. A rare opportunity for a proper Panama made with vintage material.
 
This hat gets its name from Maurice Davis. A now long gone hat manufacturer in Luton. Their old factory building is just across the road from our workshop so we felt it fitting to dedicate this hat to them. In hopes of rebuilding local industry.
